Peter Sawatzky Sculpture Garden Project

Peter Sawatzky is a world-renowned bronze sculptor and has chosen the Assiniboine River Corridor and Brandon Riverbank to be the home of his legacy garden! It will feature a series of walkways which will weave between gardens and sculptures, creating a trail of discovery. We are fundraising currently for a sculpture similar to the one at Portage and Main in Winnipeg called The Seal River Crossing. This will be the centerpiece and one of the largest sculptures in the garden!
