Programs & Camps
There is always something new to learn when you visit the Assiniboine river corridor! Reconnect with nature while exploring the beautiful trail systems and the interpretive pond, learn about Manitoba wildlife at our family activity space, reinforce classroom lessons via our interpretive programs or learn through play during our summer Swamp Camps!
Some of the programs offered from the Riverbank Discovery Centre include:
- Self-guided interpretive pond tour brochures are available to help you learn more about the habitat of the wetlands
- Self- guided trail system maps are available to help you navigate the Riverbank trail system
- Interpretive programs designed for school and tour groups on several topics, are offered in May & June & by special request throughout the summer
- Summer Swamp Camps through July and August for kids ages 5 – 9 years old

Interpretive Programs

Get your students outside and learning with the Brandon Riverbank Discovery Centre this spring! Our engaging, hands-on interpretive school tours inspire young minds to connect with nature and explore Manitoba’s diverse ecosystems, wildlife and conservation.

Swamp Camp
Registrations for Swamp Camp 2026 are open!
Swamp Camp will run for three awesome weeks this summer. Register your children, ages 5-9 for one of the weeks below and get ready for a ton of fun at the Riverbank!
July 13–17 July 20–24 July 27–31
Follow these steps to register your children this summer:
1. Download the Swamp Camp 2026 Registration Form.
2. Send the form to programs@riverbank.mb.ca or bring your filled out form to the Riverbank Discovery Centre.
3. Contact Riverbank Administration at 204-729-2141 to pay over the phone or pay in person with cash, credit or debit card.
