Our facilities can be booked by completing our online application forms. Use the links below to access the form for the facility you wish to book. A representative from Brandon Riverbank Inc. will be in contact with you to further discuss your requirements.
Multipurpose Room
Whether you are hosting a family gathering or business meeting, the Discovery Centre multipurpose room is the perfect venue for your small to mid-sized function! This relaxed and comfortable space can accommodate many seating arrangements (as below) or can be set up by request for your unique function:
- Banquet, 64 people
- Theatre, 60 people
- Classroom, 32 people
- U-Shape, 24 people
Complete with wireless internet access, projector, sounds, flip chart, a white board, and pin boards are available, this an ideal location for training or brainstorming sessions. Our friendly Riverbank staff are pleased to have everything ready for your guests arrival! We can provide coffee and tea service, and maintain a full list of local caterers.
The simple design and neutral colour palette of the space makes for a comfortable setting when dressed down and is easy to dress up for more formal events! The connected outdoor patio overlooks the Assiniboine River, offering stunning views for your guests to enjoy, while the adjacent purple martin sanctuary provides a unique observation and learning experience. We are committed to providing a clean and accessible environment to accommodate your group.

The grounds of the Riverbank Discovery Centre are a great place to host your outdoor event, from family reunions to community walks. With lots of room to roam, picnic gazebos for added shelter, ample parking and the beautiful backdrop of the Assiniboine River, your outdoor event is sure to be a success! Hosting events
The Riverbank Discovery Centre works in partnership with many community groups to serve Brandon and Westman as a cornerstone space to host educational and cultural initiatives, promote environmental stewardship and to foster healthy community relationships. We host many permanent, annual and seasonal initiatives at the Discovery Centre, and are constantly working with our community partners to find other new, interesting and unique things to bring to the Riverbank.
The Riverbank Discovery Centre also serves as a gathering place for the community. It plans and coordinates many annual community events such as Brandon’s Canada Day celebrations. It also hosts large scale community events organized by external groups such as charity fundraising walks, fundraising events and even car shows! There truly is never a dull moment at the Riverbank!
